Minnesota Lakes & Rivers and SLA

Our esteemed friend and Minnesota Lakes & Rivers’ (MLR) visionary leader, Jeff Forrester, recently launched the Lake Steward Program (LSP). Jeff has generously offered LSP as a model for our Square Lake Association to help us further advance shoreline management best practices, educate Association members, increase property owner awareness, and promote the Association and its mission to local residents, both on and off the lake. Also, the Local AIS Action Framework was designed by MLR participants at the first two Aquatic Invaders Summit, and was offered by Jeff to our Association to be used as a reference guide as we work to continuously improve our proactive Protect & Preserve AIS program for Square Lake.
